At the beginning of April I took a long journey to the South of America to tutor on the Low Brass Festival in Lima, Peru.

It was a really inspiring week with over 100 students coming from Peru, Colombia, Argentina, Venezuela, Ecuador, Brazil and Chile. It was a very hectic week with lessons, masterclasses and rehearsals every day and concerts every evening. I think it was a wonderful course and one that I would have liked to attend when I was a student. I had a great insight into the musical life in the South of America and met some great people who will remain good friends.
